Some volunteers teach students patience and some help students with psychomotor skills (skills that combine both perceptual information and control of the muscles, like tying a shoe). Some volunteers help with reading and some help with math. Some volunteers help a classroom raise ladybugs and some help struggling kids prepare for tests. Some volunteers work as mentors and some help with homework. Some volunteers teach digital media, some teach singing, and some teach kids how to pitch a ball.
