A quarter-century later, Huertas’ Ballet Folklorico de James Logan has become all of that and more, and it’s still going strong. The student troupe, which commands the stage with eye-catching traditional costumes and agile dance moves honed through countless hours of practice, will celebrate its 25th anniversary with two performances on Saturday. The group will perform nearly 30 routines, presenting traditional music and dances from Veracruz, Sinaloa and several other states in Mexico. Some folklorico routines from Puerto Rico also will be performed.
